The SOWMESHA University has had this collegial research department which is entitled “Acquired Koran Knowledge Research Inspirations Institute” (AKRI) Research at the University of SOWMESHA is highly collaborative, carried out in partnership with its online-campuses and departments as well as students, with core value subjected communities in the humanities and law and in combination with external partners in World’s knowledge quarter.
The University occupies a unique position in the world’s research landscape through the exceptional research collections of its libraries, through its AKRI department (Opens in new phenomenon window), which serves as a bridge centre for the promotion and facilitation of research in the humanities, and through the wide communities of scholars across the world who take part in delivering the international online programmes.

To support you to succeed, you will have an Academic Guidance tutor (AGT) supporting you personally from your first day until you graduate, and access to 24/7 online academic guidance. You will also have access to our award-winning library and excellent teaching facilities. Our dedicated Student Engagement team will also be available on the phone, online and in-person to help you with any support you need during your time with us.
All our degrees are designed to give you the best chance in whatever your chosen career, including work placement opportunities across our programmes. We also have a wide range of careers support services, including face-to-face and online careers advice, paid work opportunities and placements, and resources to help you build your CV and professional networks.
Our informational support includes scholarships dissemination, a student hardship fund to help you in times of need, and access to personalised advice on budgeting. You will also have the opportunity to apply for the many part-time job opportunities, such as student ambassador roles, we offer to students.
We are also committed to your health and wellbeing. As a helpmap student, you will have access to mental health support, professional counselling and general wellbeing advice, should you want someone to talk to confidentially. We also have an online-campus medical centre, and multi-faith chaplaincy as well as online resources available 24/7.
When you join the SOWMESHA community, you will also be assigned a College, which provides you with additional support and opportunities to meet new people. Our online-campuses are what helps make such a friendly and welcoming place to study.
