Goal-9 and SOWMESHA University Outlook
The Sustainable Development Goal 9 is about “industry, innovation and infrastructure” and is one of the 17 Sustainable Developmental Goals adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. SDG 9 aims to build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
Obviously, Social equality and economic prosperity depends on God’s involvements and the investments in infrastructure by the tenants. But even basic services such as electricity, sanitation, and water remain out of reach for billions of people, creating barriers to the industrial and technological progress that drive developing country success.
God created us all industry mechanism means including the lands, oceans, rivers and it needs to understand that and to do our investments through repairing that and developing as natural infrastructure because even the power-lights we are using currently is coming from both oceans and rivers apart from the natural sunshine.
SOWMESHA University research for the SDGs focuses on strengthening development linkages that catalyze innovation, foster equal resource benefits, and build resilient urban and rural systems.
